The 2026 MP&DA Apprentice of the Year Competition was held in April at Skill Hire’s Forrestfield Campus, bringing together apprentices from Skill Hire and TAFE to compete for the title.

The competition provided an opportunity for apprentices to demonstrate their skills, knowledge of their trade, recognising the work they put into their training and skills development.

The winners were announced during the Awards for Excellence night on 24 October at Duxton Hotel Perth.
